Happy Birthday, Wishes To Myself

It is my birthday.  I made it through another year and I want to make myself some wishes.

July 1, 2015

Dear Pretty Woman,

You have made it through another year.  I know that things have not been perfect but there has been a lot of growth and accomplishments on your road to today.  You graduated with your second bachelor’s degree.  You should be so proud of yourself.  You didn’t let anything or anyone tell you that you couldn’t do it.  No one could tell you that it was stupid and that you were doing the wrong thing — even though they tried.  The work that you put in got you through the harsh winter with your health issues in tow.   There are some things that are not where you want them to be but you know that you are not going to give up on it.  There is a lot of work that has to be done.  You have the ideas, the goals and the imagination now you have to put in that work.  I see you starting and stopping — why?  Is there something that you are afraid of?  Is it the fear of failure or the fear of success?  Make it that it is neither one.  Let that bit of fear be your motivation to push forward.  Think about what La La wrote, “I let go of my fears and insecurities and embraced the moment.”  This is highly important to you.  You have those fears that feed in your insecurities.  Every morning continue to remind yourself that you are worth every blessing that is coming to your.  Remember that the struggles and trials are to build up your strength and keep you on your toes.  You are beautiful, smart, talented and beyond capable to do everything that you set your mind to — with or without support.  Make sure you thank those who have been there for you, you know who they are.  Enjoy your day even if you just go to work.  That is something you was hoping for; that you worked on your birthday.  Love you.  Yes, you do love you.

Sincerely none of then yourself.
